Many congratulations to the Wildcats of Abilene Christian on their second consecutive victory in the DII Cross-Country championship. The Wildcats placed three runners in the top six, led by Nicodemus Naimadu, who takes his record fourth individual title. Overall, the Wildcats with 59 points, edging Western State and Adams State who finished in a tie at 66 points.
Abilene Christian does, however, post a shameful 44% graduation rate in its men's Cross-Country/Track program. Western State at 46% falls into the shameful category as well, and Adams State at 56% has nothing to brag about. Cross-Country athletes must have an intense personal will to succeed. Where is it in the classroom folks?
